We recently bought a 2013 model 14 ft Expanda Outback poptop with full ensuite. When bush camping, the toilet flush works fine when the 12 volt water pump switch is turned on, but when connected to 240 volt and mains water, we still have to turn on the 12 volt pump switch to get the toilet flush function to work. It appears that even when using 240 volt and mains water, the toilet gets its flush water from the van’s on-board water tanks.
Shouldn't the van get its flush water from the mains supply when connected to mains water and 240 volt? I'm wondering if there's a water blockage somewhere in the van, or alternatively, a malfunctioning solenoid valve in the toilet flush line. Has anyone had a similar problem?
