Water pressure

Just wondering how happy you are with your mains water pressure. The pressure in our 20.63 is terrible. When I turn the pump on it improves considerably but unless your tanks are full it is no good.

Is it possible to set it up so that the pump supplements the mains pressure without drawing from the tanks?

Cheers Andrew

G'day Andrew, I've got the same problem. I haven't looked too closely yet but I think the pressure limiting valve is probably the culprit, I plan to replace it with one that costs more than the $2.50 jayco undoubtedly spent on the oem

Hey Andrew,

Had a similar issue myself, it ended up being the little plastic shut off valve inside of the fitting right where you connect the hose to the van was broken and jammed sideways causing a restriction. I can only assume it is to stop water splashing back when you disconnect the hose. I just disconnected the hose on the inside of the van, removed the hose fitting and then I pulled out the little valve completely, reinstalled and now have heaps of pressure.
I didn't bother with getting new one, makes no difference apart from a little water splash when disconnecting.

Cheers
