A Navy group I'm with are seeking some help and I thought of the Expanda Mob.....

Ahoy Shipmates, its Carl, again from the Naval Graves Projects. Guys we need your help please, if anyone is traveling on the Gibb River Rd in WA we are trying to establish if a grave and head stone cross still exists at Drysdale River Mission for Warrant Officer John Henry Davies who was taken by a Croc whilst on shore leave. We believe if this still exists then it would be the remotest Naval Grave in Aust, if anyone is up that way we would surly appreciate a photo og the Head Cross please. Details are

The people you need to speak to are Yvonne and Kevin Coate who compiled Lonely Graves and More Lonely Graves. I don't have a contact number for them but if your mate on the Forum is serious about following through he should contact Peter Bridge at Hesperian Press (they published the books) who will know their phone numbers. And it is quite possible that Peter will have info on the grave as well. He is a mine of information.
