Hi there @rcf, we have the 21.64-1 and upgraded to the Ibis when we purchased ours.

We were told that the standard was not a true reverse cycle, so going to a proper reverse cycle would be better for heating.

It wasn't a cheap upgrade (around $1200 from memory) and I'd have to say I've been disappointed with that descision.

Yes it heats ok, however when on heating mode, the compressor cutting in and out is so noisy, it wakes me up at night.

I contacted Air Command and they told me it's normal.

So I have now fitted a diesel heater for heating and only use be Ibis for cooling (which I am very happy with).

For my 2 bobs worth, I'd invest the extra into a diesel heater, which can be used off grid.

We also have the 21-64 and instead of the Coleman, which we were told were noisy, etc, we got the ibis 2. Asked for the ibis 3, but it had only just come out and got told no.

So far we are very happy with it.

We have the ibis 3 and it is great. Nice and quiet and works well. We had it going in Darwin in Pct last October and found it worked very well.

Cheers
