Have fun mate and don't forget to let us know how you went and how the van handled the trip and what if anything, you may have done differently for your preparations.

Sorry all, still trying to learn how to post pics etc on here. We had a great trip and nothing fell off the van which was good. Some of 1200 km of dirt was good, some so just rocks.
This was the smooth part, nice and red and bull dust, but NO rocks, the rocks did claim a new tyre [only 1000km on it] was not happy, but that's all that happened so not that bad.
Believe me the dust got in every were, well on the out side anyway, not to bad in side after all I did positively the inside was not to pressure the van with a fan and air filter, thanks heavens for that.
Nothing like free camping, the space, the views and just being out in the open and free. Not to mention our dog loved just being able to run and all the new smells of Kangaroo poo etc
My Mods as promised, sorry it took so long for pics, was busy getting ready for trip , then busy catching up at work :-( Oh I wish we were still out there, planning next trip already.
