Hi,

Does anyone know if you can pump your tyres beyond there max rating without harm. I ask because my Expanda 16.49-3 suggest the tyres be set to 450kPa (65PSI). The tyres are rated to cold max of 65 PSI and I am nervous to have them running at 65PSI only because pressure gauges are not always accurate.

Thanks

Don't run pressures beyond what is rated on the tyre itself. I ran my (1850 kg ATM) 16.49-2 outback at 45psi. This was above the compliance plate suggestion and worked well for me.
