TV signal from caravan park instead of van antenna

We have the wind up antenna for our tv signal but it is crap where we are but then there is TV out let in the power box at the caravan park so I have run a lead to the TV inlet on the side of the van but my problem is how do I switch to this as there is only 1 TV outlet by the tv

Cancan, when I have had this setup I just run the lead from the power box through the top window in the pop up part of the van (they are only velcroed on) and straight down to the back of the tv.

Thanks Chartrock but I have a full size van although I might run the lead through the back door and just check that it does improve the reception.

I am surprised you do not have an extra antenna point outside on the van for this purpose.

I was under the impression that if you turned the booster switch off( little black button on tv plate) then it switches to get signal from the outside tv socket. Never tried it so good luck

Like wise, also did this with the camper, just ran it under the canvas at the bed end. but if using the TV inlet from park power box, turn off the wind up aerial booster, remember some areas may not be Digital yet so auto tune is the go.

Well there you go I never knew that :hail: about the booster switch.

I have only done it once at Bright and ran the cable up under the canvas at the bed.

yep same with ours, turn booster off, antenna plugged into side of van and you get that signal.

I am having the same issue but when turned off i do not get any signal inside my van
Any other ideas

I run my vast(Sat TV) connection though my arial points as well and if the booster is on the connection is lost.
