I use the Aussievan Easytune. It works quite well but if bush camping the motorised turning of the antenna cannot be used, it uses a power pack in 240v to convert to 12v AC, fed back up the antenna wire. They are based in WA but I have had good service from them when required.

I use one of these –
Travellers Mate. Omni directional, digital ready, 12v signal amp, etc....works fine. Mounts on pvc post which clips to side of van.

I use the fairly basic happy wanderer which i got from Page bros jayco, works a treat, easy to put up and stores well too and much cheaper than some!

explorer uhf/vhf for us with a dick smith booster in line. oldly but still goodie. will post the mod my 11yo sone done to the van to mount the airel as i get the van back.cheers pace.
We got the 2012 Winegard Sensar HV Freevision Amplified HDTV antenna. Looks impressive but I'm yet to hook a TV to it. This weekend probably.

I have this one too. Seems to work well. I've used it in 3 locations.
We have the new winegard 2012 type and thought when we got it you would get tv from mars but it is no different to the old type.. The only different is it picks up a lot of attention and conversation from other fellow travelers asking about it nearly daily.
Thanks for the info everyone gives me some idea of what to get!

as mentioned above i would insert pics of airel mount post my eldest boy made (11yo at time) which was the first mod done to the van all most year ago. came home from work and boys says dad come see what i made for the van. gotta leave it there, good on him ha. no wonder he got encouragement award from the new inventers show on ABC. cheers pace for mini pace.

Happy wanderer t bar for me. Works good, picks up all digital channels is cheap and easy to store and erect.
