OMG that does not even include BOOZE,
hello mikerzey one of our planned stops on the way down is the Glenlyon community park, our travel plan allows for a couple of free days before we head to Geelong , Glenlyon looks like a good place to burn up any extra time ,and maybe go to the laundrymat at Dayesford and possibly do some prospecting while we wait , are we on the right track ????

Hi,
Glenlyon is one of our favourite spots.

There is a mineral spring, electric BBQ, flushing toilets, town water, birds, and kangaroos. It is usually quiet. RV can only camp in one of the car parks so the other, close to the race track is free for horse floats.

Our favourite walk is up to a hidden gem: Lodden Falls. There is also a nature trail along the Lodden River. Rumour has it that there are platypus around there, but we have not spotted any.

take care
Mike
