Trauma Hot Water not working on 240v but OK on Gas. Yes, I left the cover on so that it should select 240v, but it all works on Gas when I take the external outlet cover off. I also checked that the power plug is in and on.
Any ideas?

Have you plugged a known working item into the power point to check the power point is not faulty and alternatively run a extension lead from a known working power point.

Why take the cover off? It works on gas or 240V when the cover is closed or open. As @Bluey says, check the switch on the outside of the hot water system, accessed when the outside cover is opened.

Sorry, just reread your post and you have a Truma heater not the usual Suburban used by Jayco. I don't know anything about the Truma.

Tested it last weekend and all is working OK - very hot water.. Just plugged 240 lead onto van and switched on the system. So can't understand why I thought it didn't work when we visited Northam recently and had 240v!!
