How many have trackers in their vans using the phone network ????

I have fitted Big Mal with a simple tracker, it uses 3G tech, Telstra is shutting down 3G as of June 2024 so I will have to aquire a 4G phone before that date or it won't work, I suppose other carriers that piggy back on the Telstra 3G network (850mhz) will be in the same boat, the band is going 5G so get better coverage...................... I use Telstra as it is the only one that works in most places I travel........ My Nokia has been giving me grief so good reason to get something else...

I don’t but Telstra keep advertising on the radio that they are shutting down 3G in our area
Now that I don’t have a company phone I use Boost which uses Telstra network

Most phones now use 4G at least, just old jiggers that will shut down....................... your tower is down along Atkinson Rd going by the guide....

Apple Air tags or Samsung Smart tags do a reasonable job. Not perfect but cheap dont require power and battery lasts a year.
