We use the Ora Big Reds on our Prado, they have been ok, but wouldn't rave about them. We have the suction cap, and have learnt the support arm needs to be at the right place for maximum resistance to trucks blowing them back. Also learnt Everything has to be very tight and i regularly check. Have heard the magnetic support arm is pretty good. I don't like the look of the clearviews. Not sure how easy it is to swap back to original but if I could then I would consider them.

we have Brunsgaard after trying everything else and find them fine, if I was on the road full time I would look at clearview's (if they made them for the Jeep) but I think they would be a bit of a pain in car parks etc when not in use

I have the Clearview mirrors and find them fantastic. As much as they look big and bulky on the side of the car as they are always there, when extended out the 100mm extra for towing the van they are just as sturdy. I have tried the type that clip on your normal car mirrors and found travlling past trucks they fly off or the shudder they get from the car moving gave me a headache. I also tried the type that have the strap down the door of the car, and found they moved when road trains where going past. Have found the clearview don't move and have a great advantage of being electric at the top with a blind spot mirror at the base. They are quite costly, but definately worth the money in my opinion. cheers Ben

I also have them, but do not leave them on all the time. Takes about 10-15 mins each side to swap them over. If they had electric folding (independant of ignition) I would leave them on all the time, or if I did not use the car everyday. I can not park it in the carport without folding both mirrors. I like the fact that you can adjust them as you are on the move ( I can check caravan tyres, side of van etc). Oz truck mirrors I used previously where good but did not like the strap mark and the fact they stretched when wet.
