Towing Courses

Hello,

We where thinking of doing a towing course, anyone done one I found one thread, with two answers.

Seems two places in Melbourne Tow-ed and Metec.

We thought it be worth doing one I know we get better with reversing and I might start getting left and rights correct
Has anyone done either of the above and how did they find them?

I would like to do one but at over $500 for a one day course, I find it hard to justify.

My friend from work did towing for a living moving vans from Melb to interstate so he said he come over and show us.
Have a few mates who have vans said they do the same.
@chartrock Although really for two of us its $250 each help with confidence. We have four boys in the car so its not very quiet.
Just wanted to know if either is any good.

Sorry I can't advise on either of them but I agree with your reasoning for wanting to do it.

Reading a few forums some say they like one and hate the other. Although each time its a different one.
Tow-ed at Yarra Glen if we go via Eltham rd then by the time we get the van there we will be trained in driving around bends and up and down hills just getting there he he
METEC in Bayswater easier to get to.
Both full days.

update: We did the Metec half day course today..
Very hands on as only the practical side. Tailored to what we wanted so we spent almost three hours on reversing.
Gave us lots of hints and ideas.. Well worth it time went quickly.
