It looks like a lot of late nights coming up again

I like watching the Orica Green Edge daily updates. This year though they are restricted to 3min videos, not the usual 10 mins. That's a shame as they give a great insight to behind the scenes

Yep, were a bit glassy eyed during the day here, as Mrs XF insists we watch til the finish line.
At least this year she hasn't got her bike set up on the wind-trainer in front of the telly!

Here in WA we've finally had a win, coverage starts same as you guys over east now and finishes at midnight most times

Plucky Cam Meyer racing, remember when him and his bro borrowed my mates race wheels when they were younger than they are now !

Have had a ride with Durbo too, true gentleman...hopefully he'll get a start one day

Who is your relative Cruza ? Is it Jayco ;-)

Ps...great media promotion getting the bus stuck ! Bit close to stage finish but all ended well

Reminded me of our trip in new van to Moore River, drive thru site and got stuck under tree branch as not used to new van and aircon unit !

Not so sure it ended well.
Ch 7 suggested they let the riders know the bus was stuck and back off the pace a little, and then they stacked cos some did and some didn't....
???

Spectacular to watch...but not much fun if you're the silly bugger on the bicycle.:barbershop_quartet_member: Damaged my body (and my pride) a couple of times when I've tried riding beyong my ability.....my quick release shoes, didn't!
Not much padding with the lycra either;)

Not looking forward to the rush of MAMILs (Middle Aged Men In Licra) getting out on the roads over the next couple of months.
Im certainly not anti bike riders, but around my area it gets out of control during and just after the Tour.

They changed the end to the 3km point as there was a photo finish facility at the 3km point. Yes they were notified but once the bus was moved it was back to the original finish line.
