If the freezer isn't working then the fridge shouldn't be either as the two are one so to speak same cooling system, if your van isn't level as in the level bubble isn't inside the lines they won't work very well, if at all, lights etc will work but the fluid won't circulate....... The freezer should start to feel cold in about 3 hrs the fridge section a bit longer..... best to run for 24hrs or more and load up the evening before you head off then everything gets really cold and the fridge starts the trip at best cold.
Since its new has it been run successfully before as it may be a dud ?

@Stephanie henderson , the level-ness is most important, both front to rear of van and across the van axle wise. Another possible problem could be the switching ie. 12 volt, 240 volt and Gas. If necessary, try it on gas and see if any change which should be evident in approx 3 hours. Note that the temperature in the freezer section must be pulled down first before any cooling can be detected in fridge area. Also check if any heat can be felt on exhaust vent which will indicate that heating is working. There are recent posts on this problem if you care to check back under "Water coming out of tank inlet when mains connected" 21st November, 2019. Unfortunately, the problem about fridge not working was part of that post. The happy part of that story was that the member found that he was able to get his fridge to work properly when level. He had his van parked with a lean sideways AND it was parked up hill. Maybe you can be that lucky too??

Same model as mine. Also check that the little power plug indicator or the 'A' (to the left of the temp bars) lights up when you press the select button and the led bars are not flashing
