Okay we recently "upgraded" our van to a nice new Jayco Expanda 20.63.1OB with slide out lounge. Bought it off the shelf so to speak so we didn't really pick much.

In the first week fitted Stone Stomper, rear camera, BM1 monitor......just the essentials.
Second week...went camping at a caravan park to warm it up.
Third week fitted balance of essentials, now they have arrived, 320w solar with 30amp controller, generator ( for the ac ) and towel rails etc.
Now we go "Glamping".

Will post picks when I get some time soon.

Happy camping!

Hi Capt Caveeeemannnn!!!

Congrats on the new van I'm sure you won't look back. Question for you, what size gen did you get, and have you tested it on the van with a/c going? I have a new 18 OB with the IBIS aircon and can't make up my mind, on size?

Cheers

Welcome @Chris Higgins.
Luxury, comfort, convenience and space aren't everything.
I still occasionally wear me old bush shirt and boots and only shave every second day trying to recapture the rough old days. Then Mrs XF has a word and I smarten up in the en-suite, get a bottle of wine from the fridge and we settle on the lounge in A/C comfort.
You'll also need some carpet mate to smarten your rig up a bit. Worth it just for the look on visitors faces,
