Just browsing through the Jayco site and notice the 16-49-1 is no longer an option. Having one as our first van as well as my brother and a couple of mates have them I was a bit surprised but I guess a drop in sales with the introduction of the 14-44-4 filling the need for a four birth option taking away from it as well. What's everyones thoughts on this one?

It's a classic, quick find one and shed it until it appreciates in value!

Typical van builders, refresh the line up even if it's not needed.

I assume a lot of people moving to 17.58's as well they took of where the 16.67 never was a hit.

we did think about up grading to a 17' or an 18' for the shower/toilet

but neither had a interior layout we liked, so we kept our 16' (without shower/toilet)

I've always thought that one of the appeals of the 16-49-1 was the weight on the relevant tow vehicle. We certainly enjoy our van and there is plenty of internal space. I would say this is a 'loss' for Jayco!

We love the van. Have taken the table out recently and there is even more room to move. We love the van as well! Great size and very easy to tow. At the Caravan and camping show, seemed to only have a couple of the smaller expanda's on show.

Hi,
yes, I agree. The only van we went specifically to see was an Expanda 14.44-5. But there wasn't one on display :(

cheers
