Just a quick message to say thank you to everyone on this forum.
Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to meet anyone yet, but from all of the information, mods, trip reports etc, the information you have all shared has been invaluable. Went away to Gordon Country for 5 days last week and found quite a few times either myself thinking, or my wife mentioning that mods or simple suggestions that I have done have made our time away so much easier and more pleasant. Everything has come from this great forum.
Needless to say we are starting to think of our next time away and anything else that I can do to the van which lead to another conversation in that we may take some extended time off to do maybe half a lap of this wonderful land we live in. This then lead to the need to change tug and possibly the van! Will definitely be another JAYCO but may end up being a full height van so no need to be setting any beds up or anything at the end of a days drive. So research and planning will start. Any changes I make now to the van (I want to add a front box for generator etc) will now need to be able to be removed and used on the next van.
We will looking at doing it in 2017 so not too far away, but time for our lease to end on our current tug, and possible sale of our current Panda in maybe 18 months time. This will give us time to get a new van ordered and some funds banked for the change.
The possible change in van will just be just to provide more room and comfort on an extended trip for both us and the kids - as well as shower and toilet that I don't have to setup!
