Popped in to the Sydney show today.

Not too much new there, although I have now found the Silverline that we may upgrade too at some point in the future.

Also spoke to Jayco about an ATM upgrade, have just sent them my current plate too see what they can bump it up too.

Picked up a few bits and pieces that had reasonable prices on them.

Went on Tuesday, was a bloody nightmare, never seen that show so busy it didn't help that the retailers weren't able to sell till 1pm due to ANZAC day, saw a new version of our van which I liked, those JB Caravans are pretty swish. I only picked up so new gas bottle covers as the current ones are cactus after 6yrs.

Sorry didn't look at the Starcraft's today.

On the Silverline they were offering a free Truma gas heater, but that was about it.

Yeah I agree. Rather than the dealers taking any cut in margin, they are relying on factory supplied deals to add in things like a heater or sat TV.

The manufacturer does a bulk deal with the supplier and adds it at the factory, that you may or may not want.

Yep probably right there, but I believe the price of the new Jayco off-roader is right up there with the best them now, did they have one there? As we didn't go to Jayco this time, or many of the others for that matter.

Yeah they had 3 of them there. I didn't really have a close look at them as their prices stopped me going inside

so what was the outcome of the ATM upgrade and what model van is it relating to?

Had a look at the Jayco Adventurer while we were there, looked just like an outback with worthless weighty extras that did not effect the off-road ability. Waste of money in my opinion. Did like a couple of vans we saw but out of the budget at this time.
