Yes, we never went to Wivenhoe Dam this weekend as planned but then this afternoon Bargara gets hit with a mini tornado. More to come the weather bureau say.
We are all good where we live, but central Bargara copped it.
Flash flooding in the low lying areas.
Check the net out for more.
Cheers Deano

Thanks Andrea, XP and Brad.
we are all good. Expanda copping the wind and rain. Here are more pics. My beloved Bowls club is extensively damage. The roof is mostly missing. Still yet to see it first hand. Might be a few working bees coming up.

I wondered how you went as we watched it on the news (once we got power back).
Still windy here as it has been all day...just reminds me of growing up in windy Wellington when I was a kid, except maybe warmer

Deano, you sure have copped it up there. It has just about finished with us here on the Goldie, and the rain has just this minute stopped and the wind has dropped.

I guess the next thing for you is the cleanup, how did you fair personally. House and van OK?

FFFAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR OUT, and a few other words that came to mind but not suitable for family forum, thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Hope all our members are safe from Flooding/Storms/Fires.

Ditto Bushman's sentiments. Please take care all of you.
Almost feel guilty that we've had such a relatively smooth summer period down south.
My daughter in Brisbane is now without power/land line, sms'd picture of Brisbane River at end of their street way flooded again though still not threatening house. Last time just got to front door but had them out of house for three weeks. Taking things far more seriously after last time when so many weren't as fortunate.
...and youngest granddaughter now has water in her gum boots, so there's always a positive side.
