G'Day all,
I am new to the forum, I was put onto it by a couple of other members who frequent another forum I hang around in. As my forum name suggests
Today my wife and I placed our order for our Jayco Expanda 16.49-1OB.
We have slowly made our way towards using a "caravan" having started with a rugged "All Terrain" brand Camper Trailer, then progressing to a Jayco Swan OB in 2009. I never thought I would have a caravan but I am mighty pleased with my purchase.
We have done a bit of change in the layout of the Expanda in that we will have the l-shape lounge however, instead of the second lounge we are having the TV cabinet. As this is a long term purchase for us we have decided to go with a fair few extras so it will have everything we want and more.
So now the wait begins with delivery expected in May. This at least gives us the opportunity to have one last trip in our Swan which will be for Easter.
I know there has been a bit of negativity around the local Jayco Dealer in another thread but we have had great experiences with them and the salesman I am dealing with at present is straight down the line, no bullshit in him and very helpful.
Anyway I am sure that I will have plenty of questions and look forward to sharing my experiences with the people on the "Expanda Down Under" Forum.
Regards
Marc (aka as Newcastle Knight)
