I introduced myself here a couple months ago after we purchased a 2012 16.49OB and mentioned that we were heading to Uluru/Kings Canyon etc. Well, we're back now and I'm posting some pics of the expanda on it's holiday! We had an amazing time and I recommend the trip to anyone with Kids, the girls had an amazing time and saw some incredible country as well as wildlife (wild dingoes, brumbies etc.), if anyone is thinking about it, happy to help with any tips, but just do it! I have a heap a scenery photos, but have dedicated this thread mostly to pics of the van on it's holiday!

This one is the Coober Pedy camp, we took the tour and learnt a lot about the town and the mining:

Then onto Uluru for a few nights, loved it here, sunset was awesome:

Then onto Kings Creek Station, included a helicopter flight and the rim walk of the canyon.

Finally some cold nights (-3) in Clare SA, before Murray Bridge and then back home to Victoria.

The Expanda and the Calais-V were an absolute breeze. We no issues at all with either and were super impressed with the Expanda given we had only had one night in it prior to heading off for 4 weeks.

Planning now commencing for the next trip....

Oh - and there was one mod worth mentioning. Found this to be really useful and saved heaps of messy mucking around. We've added some poly pipe through the chassis to store the sullage hoses. I could fit two good lengths in here (about 4m), usually only needed one but in some parks I needed the extension.

Yes @Tricky we have got some great memories and the kids were at the right age to take it all in which was great. It was also good to have enough time to stop at a few places rather than just fly through, the kids got a lot more out of it that way too.
