Slowly getting things done

We are going to do the 'Big Lap' in 13 months (and counting) and am slowly getting things done to the van.

Since joining we have used this forum for picking everyone else's brains so now I thought I'd give something back.
Here's what we did to the van on the weekend.....

A wooden chopping board to protect stove top and give extra prep area.
A splashback to stop water from sink splashing on couch.

I love it too, it will give me extra space and stop me stressing that something will happen to the glass stovestop!
Very impressed with my Hubby for making this,. It started out as a piece of wood 450mm x 300mm x 1200mm long and next thing I had a choppong board!

Yes, great idea. I spilt some milk down the side of the cooker on our last trip. I need that chopping board!
