We have finally done our first trip away in our Starcraft to the buronga caravan park (great park if your travelling through) and was really pleased with how things went. One question I do have for the brains trust is are you supposed to have the stability legs straight down or on the angle or does it not matter?

Depends on whether it's an outback model with the Alko drop down legs or not.

If it's got the Alko drop downs, then straight down. If it's an on road with wind down stabililisers then they probably go at an angle.

They're for stability, not to take too much weight.

Happy settling in with the new van!

As @Delano said, ditto.............I put a jack stand under my draw bar, one that you can adjust, when all level remove jockey or wind it up, next off drop down rear stabs and wind to they just take the weight, that puts the weight onto the front stand then I drop and wind down the front stabs, it all should be nicely balanced then, if you do the front then back you can push the bubble off centre.
Have set them at an angle but vertical is better as @Bellbirdweb said.
