Hi all,
I'm thinking about fitting a reverse camera to my 17.56-2 and I was going to mount camera under the number plate, if anyone could help on where to mount camera this would be great.

Mine is on the rear bar as well. Works a treat but gives a very low perspective on following traffic. Leave it on all the time while towing.

On my 14 I have it mounted at top ,better to fit a rear veiw camera instead of reversing as they have a wider view,
Works really well I leave it on all time while towing can actually see cars coming up beside me , they are still on camera and can see them in pajero's mirrors so no blind spots.

What sort of monitors have you guys got these hooked up to. I would like to have one display on my Toyota display and have a switch between the car camera and the van camera

I am the same. I contacted Solar Panel express up at Caboolture and they said it was quite difficult. - not impossible - but difficult to do.

Hi Bigben if you have a look at my attachment on my profile there are a number of pics on how I mounted the rear camera type of cabling and the clip on monitor I use when all connected

Hi @Bigben and welcome aboard. We mounted ours at the top of the rear bed with our 17.56-2. Works well for us. Would never do without one.
Cheers Deano

I've never tried wireless but I've never heard a good report. Only bad. I gather there is too much interference/distance from car to rear of van.
Ebay is the go
