Relaxing in Merimbula

Have taken the week off to relax in Merimbula. Left Saturday and spent the night in Bairnsdale at the Riverside Holiday Park . Clean and comfortable but a little bit more expensive than i expecte for this time of the year with only two adults.




Travelled through to Merimbula on Sunday but seemed to take forever with a late start, i do prefer to be on the road earlier and then it does not seem like you are on the road all day.

Settled into Merimbula Beach Holiday Park with an ensuite site that sits on to of the cliff and looks out to the ocean. A great view from the back of the van. Weather has been great with plenty of sunshine!

Leaving Saturday and driving all the way home this time.

@1DayIll - if you are going to stop at Bairnsdale on the way home, try Eagle point Caravan park. It's about 10 mins drive from the park you stayed at. Way off the highway noise. Eagle point is a basic but peacful park. We got the 20' in there no worries.

love those sites in Merimbula - unfortunelty for us they are booked out during Xmas so ours is up closer to the entrance.

Sadly we are now back at home but had a great time there.

We Went to Eden, Pambula, Tathra and a good walk through the Ben Boyd National Park . Weather was really good, cold in the morning but really sunny in the day time. Sun was out every day except Wednesday but was not cold so we were still out an about.

We drove home in a day as we ended staying an extra night. Easy drive home but now ready to go again!

I currently have excess days booked so will be handing back several days mid-late Jan. I think the day rate is $77/day from memory.
