16' Series Recall notice

We picked up our 16.49.4 a couple months ago.

The other week we got a notice from Jayco regarding plumbing for the external shower. The notice had a vin number range but don't have that with me at the moment.

Anyone know more about it?

My mate just got a 17.56 and got the recall, whereas my 18.58 we got at the same time didn't, so looked into it. A certain number of vans may or may not have had the hot tap put on the wrong side. (18.58 has the taps positioned vertically so doesn't apply). Standard state that the hot tap should always be on the LH side of a set of taps. Can check yours yourself to see if the trip is required for a service. Left tap should be hot, Right cold. Its to stop people reaching out and turning the wrong tap with a face full of shampoo or similar.

As a left hander, can't see anything wrong with switching tap sides for once.

You thinking after making so many vans Jayco would get something so basic right, i mean left....anyways
I think our taps for the external shower are vertical also.
We will be due for the first service soon so will probably have it checked out then
