We have booked 3 nights at Pottsville South Caravan Park from next Wednesday. We have not had the van out since getting home from Tassie so we need a 'fix'. Hope to get a bit of fishing in as well. :fish2:

Enjoy CR, been some time since we've been that way, last time there my B-I-L took us to a lagoon that backs onto one of the CP's in Pottsville, cant remember which one but was a great place for a refreshing swim at the time it was Spring/Summer nice warm currents.
Our Panda hasn't turned a wheel since June long weekend., didn't take it on our Albury run 3 weeks ago. Damn those Cabins are expensive now.

No problem, I will post some sort of report.

We have stayed there a few times. We have had no issues with hoons. The only issue we have had is people going through your fridges at nigh inside the annexes. Make sure you lock up the alcohol especially through the holiday times.

We just returned from three night at Pottsville South Caravan Park. It is a nice park right on the water at the mouth of Mooball Creek. Grassy sites with concrete pads, mostly small sites especially the waterfront ones. Amenities reasonable, clean but small. No pets allowed and we had no trouble with hoons although we heard one on Friday night and some idiot with a motor bike with no muffler running around Saturday morning. Wind would blow a dog of his chain the last few days and the surf very big so no fishing off beach and no fish in the creek. Well, they did not like my bait. Surf noise quite loud at night but did not keep me awake especially after walking to Hastings Pt and back along the beach.

The place was pretty near full every night but as you see from the first photo, there is barely room to put the awning out let alone an annexe.
