Im looking for some advice on a roof mounted air con for the expanda (pop top). We currently have a dometic B2200 which is 2.0kw cooling, and is totally useless for both heating and cooling. it weighs 34kgs (installed) Basically I hate it and want a new one that actually works. I'm looking at the coleman polar mach with 3.9 kw cooling (we only need it to cool) and I don't want to do a unit under 3.5kw cooling. the polar is 43kgs, so with the extra 10kgs on the roof we will need to ad in some strut supports. We are both young and strong so the extra 10kgs wont worry us physically and we have tested lifting this with the extra weight on top... Does anyone have any suggestions, advice, hints and tips? thank you all.
