We picked up our 14.44.4 Outback last weekend from Annie and Leon who had it advertised in QLD here on the forum.
Leon organised a caravan park at Nambucca Heads (half way between Sydney and the Sunshine Coast) for the handover.
What an awesome van, in absolute "as new condition". It exceeded all of my expectations and is a real credit to the previous owner. Still can't believe it is ours when I see it parked in the front yard.
Thanks Leon and Annie for a great handover and a lovely dinner at the local RSL.
My first night in the van was an early one. I had the van all packed up and hitched ready for a 4.00am departure Sunday morning. Got home at 11.00am and spent he afternoon tinkering.
These really are a great little van packed with plenty of features.
Can't wait to get away....have a two week trip planned in the next school holidays.
Going to get a "Stormcover" made for it as it will be kept outside. http://www.stormcovers.com.au/. I had one made for my Eagle and it kept it in amazing condition.
Will post some pics this weekend.
