Perth to Karijini

Hi All,

I am heading from Perth to Karijini National Park in a few weeks and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on somewhere to stop off in between. We are open to caravan parks or free camping.

How much time are you allowing for travel? I would do that in a loop up the coast (slow) and down the great northern (fast). Both have plenty of good overnight rest stops but the coast has better scenery and caravan parks.

The albert tognolini rest stop at junction of the GN and turn off to karijini is one of the best in my opinion with great views.
