Patto's New Expanda 17

Well we picked up the new Expanda 17.56.1 OB on Thursday and headed down to Phillip Island for the shake down.

Hand over was handled by Ron and done very well.
All the extras where fitted, tested and explained, between Trevor and Ron from Page Bros we couldn't asked for more.
The awning walls for the van arrived a couple of hours before we did so the timing was good.
We outsourcer the canvas walls for the awning to comply with the new regulations.
I will post some photos of the full setup after the weekend, I didn't have time to set it up completely on this trip.

Got a chance on the weekend to fit the walls to our awning. Very happy with the result.
There is also a room that attaches to the back, but I just wanted to see how the main walls looked.

Looks good , how hard was it to set up ? Is the add on room freestanding?

No it was about an hour to setup first time. But now I know the where everything goes that time should be cut down.
The room for the end zips to the back wall and has three poles for the back.
The same as the one below.

who made the annex looks good.. We are seeing how we go for our first big trip as was 50-50 if we get one.

That looks really neat, but wouldn't want to be setting it up just for the weekend and wear do you store all that canvas?

The awning walls were made by Alpine Canvas in Melbourne. We are only using the walls for extended stays, and as such are packed in the back of the vehicle.
For weekends or overnights if needed, we have Sunbuster long and end wall shades. These are stored under the seats in the van.
