Hi,

I have just been talking to our local dealer about ordering a 17.56-1 Outback and he said that they are changing to independant suspension and this will be reflected in a $3300.00 price rise for 2014 models. Does anyone have any views on the current suspension system?

Thanks
Emma

Emma is that $3300 on top of the extra you pay for the o/b pack? I know the dealers aren't happy not having independent suspension as an added extra as it will be harder to sell the outback pack.

Thanks MFExpanda. We are just trying to decide between a second hand 2012 model and brand new. I hadn't read about any problems with the current suspension and are sure that it is an upgrade for the purpose of continually changing product offering.

Crustt- the 2013 list price for an outback is $41,525.00 and the 2014 will be $44,825.00. The 2014 also includes a few additional inclusions like solar and battery pack that will now be standard.

I would rather have those things as options, especially the solar panel as on the roof is a bit limited and expensive. I also like to be able to move it around and also connect to the car.
