ORROROO to HAWKER

Just been looking at the route for the group meet at Wilpena later this year. Has any one travelled from Orroroo to Hawker ie whats the road like hilly etc ? Narrow or wide . In the past we normally turn off at Wilmington.

We travelled it towing a soft floor CT in 2012. I don't remember having any concerns. Someone else should be along soon with some more up to date info.

We went to the Flinders last year, and it was definitely bitumen, from Orroroo to Hawker, it certainly wasn't narrow, normal 2 lane from memory. And I don't believe it was hilly either.

Thanks guys we always seen to go in from orroroo yet Wilmington seems the shorter route will go that way for the group meet .

Travelled Gawler, Wilmington, Quorn, Hawker and Arkaroola and then on the home stretch Arkaroola, Hawker, Orroroo, Clare and Gawler. No issues either way. For Gawler found Orroroo slightly flatter and shorter. But this is to Gawler rather than Adelaide.
