hello all.
we own a 2002 X-Trail which my wife loves. well the inevitable happened last week. a blown head gasket and radiator tank. well we are now looking at a full rebuild. I have seen a few rebuilt exchange engines on the net. does any one have any suggestions on which ones to avoid? I am a mechanic, so I would normally do it all at home after hours, but this time I do not have the time, space or manpower(due to medical condition) to do it my self.
can any one recommend anyone preferably on Brisbane north side?
has anyone had any dealings with Burleigh Auto Recyclers? they have an exchange available just trying to find any feed back if any.
thanks
peter

make sure you get them to itemize everything they are going TO do, before they do the job............

as a Mech, you will know what the job entails, and what should and should NOT be included in the exchange motor

just that I have heard horror stories of "oh we needed to do this and that as well" and the price ended up being a heck of a lot more than originally planned
