Hi there everyone,this is our first post. We are mad campers and so are our friends. They have already had an Expanda for a while while we dragged our feet. What were we waiting for! We love our new (secondhand) van but have only been away once so far and that was with other members of this form.
We got got advice from the form and from the members who were so unselfish with their nuggets of wisdom that has helped us so much. Thank you all.
We only have a small Expanda ( known forevermore as "The Cubby") but are very happy with it.
Unfortunately our first weekend away was the absolute wettest and as our cubby came with vinyl bed ends we tried them.They were not successful and leaked badly, as we think they may have been made for another van and didn't fit properly and because they didn't breathe we had problems with moisture.
Soooo as you do when looking for an excuse to spend money on our van ,we went and bought the new bed ends from Jayco which my hubby put on today ( Actually we only needed one ).
We like the fact it has windows and fits much better , no more jokes about wetting the bed from hubby.
So thats our first post , next time we may have something to say that may be helpful same as you all have been really helpful for us.
