16' Series New to the Expanda experience

Hi all,

Just wanted to say hello, have been looking at the forums for a few months and have just purchased our first van. We have a 2009 16.49.1 (I think that is the correct number, haha). We are loving it and took it away on our first trip on the weekend. Had a ball with it and very impressed with the setup. A big upgrade from our normal camping of a tent, so very nice.

Look forward to asking a few questions as we need to sort a few things out and also learning more about our van.

Hi and welcome McKay family

We have had our van for nearly a year now and like you it is our first. I know what you mean about the difference between tenting.... best move we ever made I'm sure there will be lots of fun trips ahead.

Thanks for the welcome guys. We will get some pics up, not very good at these computers but we will give it our best. We took the van for a quick trip an hour away from home just to try it out and see how easy it is to setup. Very basic setup but went very well and yes a big difference to teh tent, very comfortable and no more air mattresses, haha. Tried to upload photos but the images are too big, i will see how to size them for the forum and try again.

Well here we go, hopefully with ElectricGuru's help they should appear, thanks for the assistance Gil. It is amazing what programs are hiding in your computer, haha. Just a couple of photos showing the van the first day we brought it home in the driveway then a few of our first trip away. We only went an hour away from home just so we could try it all out and see how it goes together. We only set the basics up but were very happy with how it went together. Thnaks fo rlooking and we will be asking some questions as there are a couple of small things we want to sort out.
