just wondering if anyone has taken their van to the Cockburn service place. Jayco are sending us there as our 'list' is long, and they don't really have the room to do all our stuff. On a good note they have approved all our list....... Which fills 1 and a half pages.

Can't help with service at Cockburn but Caravanland also sent us to an approved service agent (Northside Caravan Repairs) as it was just up the road from home and saved travelling the extra distance south! Very happy with the service there.

We were lucky and only had a small amount (few) of things required to be done.

Sounds like yours was put together on a Monday or Friday @Smirke with a list that long :o

Well , they did admit on handover that the electrics were done by a probey (which I don't mind, as long as they are supervised...which they weren't as they had to figure out why the lights didn't turn on when flicking the switches).
I guess our list isn't too bad considering we did a touch under 12000km in approx 6 weeks. So I figure we've found the faults. Not all on the list were faults though, some were stuff ups and not using common sense.
We take it in on Tuesday for a look see .

@Smirke the Cockburn agent is apparently very good. Father in law has used them several times and very positive reviews. Good luck with it. Ours is in for second list of minor repairs when we get back from Dwellingup next weekend

Thanks @Cheyne78 . I've got take the van in on Tuesday for them to look at first , then bring it back again for the warrantee fix ups. Not too keen on that I must say. I'd rather take it once and pick up when done. But does make me feel happier knowing someone else is happy with their service.

Sorry can't help with the Cockburn one but had work done at PDA in Maddington and they were very good, thankfully our local guy here (Wheatbelt Caravan & RV Centre) in down town sunny Northam is now a Jayco approved repairer, and he's only 1.3kms from home.
Perfect. Was in sunny, Northam on Sunday.

Did you come up for the Vintage swap meet? I was on the main Gate from 4.30am until about 10
No, son #2 had a swim meet , so we were at the pool from 8am. Saw heaps of old cars which were very shiney, heading out of perth though. (Explains why there were heaps of motorcyclists going past .)
