Here is my first go at putting up some photos, hope it works, I have been putting it off for a while. My first mod was to stop the screen door latching to the locked open outer door when hands are full exiting the van, or the kids going in or out at a hundred miles an hour. Step one, drink a bottle of bubbly. Step 2, when sober or someone with a steady hand, trim two flat surfaces on thick part of cork just so it fits snugly into outer door slot and insert. Our cork stays in cutlery door permanently. 20140119_184225.jpeg seems to work, no more screen door latching back. Cheap, enjoyable mod.20140119_184309.jpegOther mods have been copied from other people on this forum, thank you everyone.van mods 034.jpgTable under back lid.van mods 035.jpgKids boogie boards and shower tent, water hose under front lid. Still might rearrange here and put things in different places. Thought I would add this shot of my Panda parking spot. Been out of the weather from day one.van mods 036.jpgI just drive straight in my"garage" and unhook, slide in my dolly jacks (had to upgrade the wheels, original plastic one were not up to the weight of the van, it is right on max weight limit) and both the wife and I just push the van sideways against the wall with very little effort. Then we can access the van with roof popped up at all times. It also gets used often as extra room for kids sleep overs ect. Barney

Love your shed mate, nice mods too!
Thanks Burnsy, I love my man cave, plenty of room, it actually goes back another 6 metres beyond the back wall, 6mx9m area we lived in( 4 yrs) while building the house, now pool table/games room for the kids. Total shed 21m x 9m. Everyone laughed at me when I built it saying it was too big I would never fill it, now I am the one laughing. Barney.

hi, I am just wondering what size the outdoor table is on the back bed? also where you might have purchased it from? also did you use any channelling on the bottom and top side?
looking to do the same to my van and the details on how you did it would be very helpful. thanks again.

Grogen_dude,

These are a 1.8m table from Bunnings and there's many ways to fit them in place, I've just got pool noodle foam cut to size and slipped in behind the front panel.

Hi mate, the table is 750 x 1.8, bunnings ,many to choose from, some fold in half, all different sizes. I chose this one because it seemed slim. i used a length of aluminum 40 x 40 angle cut in half for the top and bottom, scewed and sicaflex the bottom anlge and just screwed the top in case i need to reposition at later date. 2 straps (couldn't find quite long enough so used some left over strapping I had) to hold in place attached to drawer handles screwed to edge of bed base. All from bunnings. Make sure you mount at least 100mm up from white angle on bed base so you can open base without removing table.001.jpgalso stuck on some sticky chair feet002.jpg thingys so table wouldn't scratch, wife resewed loops on ends of straps, threaded thru drawer handles before screwing on.Barney

Hey @barney120
Clever mods and they look good - i might have to steal some. :)
With your hose, what exactly did you clip it up with?
Cheers mate
Ants
Hi Antman, they are "command 1.3kg damage-free 3m stick on hooks from bunnings. I put a strap over them as well so can open bed end with out removing them if I don't need to. Barney

Just had Australia Wide (no affiliation) annex fitted. Love the way you can set it up in wall sections, as little or as many walls as you like.It will get a good shake down this school holidays up on the gold coast. Forgot to take pictures.

Still heaps of mods to go, dam forum giving me all these useful ideas.

I've also ordered our LED light strip with remote to do the same thing. Our previous set we connected a 12v plug. Will hard wire this time around. Great things use very little power for the amount of light they produce.
