Hi! Does anyone have any suggestions as to the most comfortable camp chairs? I tested out a chair at Ray's - the Oztent King Kakoda....very comfy... does anyone have any experience with this chair also?

I have one of these, too (the jumbo one), and they are great. Heavyish and big, though, so they're not for carrying around like the $15 jobs that fold into a carry bag.

Hi feva,
I have a king kakoda ltd chair and it is excellent. I have had back surgery and the adjustable lumbar support makes it the most comfortable chair I have sat in. Trust me I tried them all before I bought one and this was far and away the best imo. Also folds down relatively small and fits easily in the front boot of the expanda.

My wife Kylie has the Kokomo Oztrail (Pink) and I have this one. Both full recliners. Kids got different styles.
Magpie doesn't mind them too.
Cheers

Thanks! I have sat in quite a few now, and I think this is the one we will end up getting. Its super comfy! Good to hear your review of it.

Ours are pretty much the same as Expanda's above except they are "Dunes" which is Anaconda's brands...probably all made in the same factory!!
They are great chairs, especially when fully reclined and dozing off...

Primus Highback. I'll my bet caravan on it that you won't find a more comfortable chair that can fold into a bag.

http://www.greatescapecamping.com.au/primus-highback-chair-p-520.html

I bought a Roman Paradise Highback for $29 at Harvey Norman Big Buys, it is similar to the Primus but not as high. I find a lot of the folding chairs are too upright. Impossible to fall asleep in.
That's a big call @BigSkiddy. But it does look like a comfy chair.

Being able to lay back and have a nap in the sun is a more important consideration than being able fit fit in a bag, for me. Hence ;

Yep @Soaring I know it's a big call, but in the five years of having my Primus chairs, I've been to a lot of events and campsites and it trumps every other for comfort.

Although I do like yours @Soaring
in having your feet off the ground, nothing worst having ant crawl up your leg and bite your nuts whilst asleep. (Why do they wait til they get there before they bite??)

When I bought them they were the first chair I sat in. Spent a day driving to different stores trying different chairs, then came back and got them.

Perhaps a 'blind seating' should be held at the next Expandas Downunder trip.

Went into the new ballarat TJM store today just for a look as I hadn't been in there before and walked out with a oztent king kokoda with alloy armrests for the wife and 2 oztent goanna chairs for the kids as the aldi ones we bought not long ago are falling apart. TJM are struggling to sell them after their grand opening and we got the kokoda for $80 and the goanna for $40 ea which I thought was good value. I still love the engle chair I got years ago with the fridge .

We went to Anaconda on the Saturday before heading off to Jamieson last week to look at buying a reclining camp chair. We only planned on one as I don't sit still long enough to enjoy one :D

Its all @BUSH PALACE 's fault after seeing Mrs Bush Palace with one at the Sheepyard Flat forum meet :bounce: for getting one. When we arrived at Anaconda there was a sale on Dune/Stirling branded products which included recliners. It was 40% off so we got 2 $99 recliners for $120. Yes I said 2 because once I sat in one I thought why not I could get use to this .

I'll organise some pics soon
