Mod's I am trying to search some mod's I have seen on the site am am having a bit of difficulty. I am thinking it's because I don't have my search terms correct but also I think they may be buried down in other semi-related threads. I was wondering what people would think about specific section for van mod's broken down into series and "all". That way you can advance search that section or browse your series like the cereal aisle in Woolies. I guess then there would be a Mod's template etc What do you reckon? People could then link from their individual van section to the mod if they like so we could try and keep the mod in one place.

Sounds like a good idea brookes, sometimes it takes time to find old threads. I use my iPhone a fair bit for this site and when I see a mod or something I like, I take a photo of it!

Cheers.

Like the idea. I would suggest however that mods are grouped by sections of van. For example: bed ends, plumbing, lighting etc.
Reason being is that I think mods are generally cross model and if I was searching for something like waterproof privacy screens then all I need to do is look under the bed ends section.

One thing to make the search function of the forum more economical (if that makes sense ) is when a new thread is started by a member is to add "Tags'' to the bottom of the thread.

At the bottom of the page you will see a window ''Tags for this thread'' For eg if its a thread about ''Wheel Balancing'' that your trying to find and that is typed into the search engine it will be found easier. More than one tag can be added too.

The other way is to make the title of any new thread more Topic Specific for eg ''Wheel Balancing, who has done it?''

OR

If its about LEDS ''LED install, with Pics''

Hey cruza do you know if you can do tags when using a portable device and the front screen automatically defaults to vbulletin?
