The whole family is very excited to pick up our 17.56-2 yesterday, a day early!! It was a massive couple of days to collect the van I was in Bundaberg Thursday morning, then collected the girls from Ippy and continued to Brunswick Heads and stayed the night and then got up early to travel to Coffs for the 10am appointment, the roads works on the Pacific Hwy were a killer sooo much road works! Then home!

We got a few extras which we are really pleased about;

· External Shower
· 150W Solar inc 100A house battery
· Coast to Coast indication panel
· 150L fridge
· Stereo inc internal external speakers
· External TV connection
· Picnic Table
· 21.5 TV
· Wind up antenna
We were just all so exicted!!

The team at Watson’s at Coffs Harbour was great with our first ever handover and explained how it all works in detail. Kate took the girls to the beach so I could send the time not distracted which was great, pity the weather was not good for swimming.

No real issues, windguard antenna does not fold down correctly just needs minor adjustment, cabinet above range hood not installed correctly, have been told this will be fixed along with any other issues identified.

The brake light and indicator were in the wrong position, but this was fixed straight away.

On our way home we stopped into Minnie Waters to check it out, looked like a beautiful place to stay. Was surprised to see so many people already setup just after lunch, we have added this camp spot to a must visit.

This weekend will be packing the van for next weekend, our first trip away! Just a couple of nights at the Mooloolaba Beach Holiday Park http://www.sunshinecoastholidayparks.com.au/holiday_parks/mooloolaba_beach_holiday_park/ , a soft start to our adventures in familiar surroundings.

Great looking set up, I still remember that day like it was only yesterday, just can't wait till I can experience it again. Working hard at the moment on that one trying to convenience the wife time for an up grade the Melbourne CC show is only just around the corner.

So finally have got around to adding some photos! We have been using the van heaps we try to go away at least one weekend a month. Have taken it up the beach to double island a few times (my fav place), Harvey Bay, Main Beach on the GC, Mooloolaba, Gordon Country, Waterfall Reserve, Flanagans, and a lot of others! It's so good to get out in our beautiful country. I got a camps 8 book for Christmas so looking to try some place that I did not even no that existed. Currently at Brunswich Heads for a couple of weeks, we come every year but have been told this is the last year because they are reconfiguring the park and our site is goooone! Very sad but I'm sure something else will come around the corner. Keep up the good work everyone, I really enjoy looking at everyone's comments and mods!

The plan is a good old read if you can't get to sleep! But all these years we have been spelling it wrong, the park was named after Sir Walter Massy-Greene so when they reconfigure, the park will have a name change

I just spent an hour reading through the plan. I gave up on most of the detail and ended up just looking at the drawings towards the end. the changes are significant but our favourite site appears to be still there.
