Hi all.

I have to fly to Melbourne, unexpectedly this afternoon for work. As I am not familiar with your fair city, infact have avoided it whenever possible, can anyone help me with rough travel times from the Airport to Werribee, also Werribee to Laverton North, then again from Werribee to the Airport in Thursday morning peak.

Cheers Cracka

Mate i travel those roads regularly. Have PM you personal number if you need me.

Airport to Werr - l know the back roads (sealed good roads) away from the traffic which will take you 40 mins, though the Tulla Fwy/Western Ring Rd/Princess Fwy is the easiest route will be packed and will be about close to an hour.
Werr to Lav Nth - are stones throws from each other (8 mins), lots of connecting main wide roads there to take (plus the truck route too).
Werr to Airport - will be reverse direction of above though traffic will be experienced closer to the airport location of course.

Cheers Pace.

Made it through town thanks @Pace. I take my hat off to those who travel in Melbourne, I hit more traffic at 9pm than I get going to work in the mornings at homeo_O.

Yeah, @crackacoldie seems to conveniently forget peak hour in the Barossa Valley.
Worst 10 minutes of my life dicing with all those vintage self-guided winery tourists, with their cars and vans unevenly loaded with reds, whites and fortifieds, crawling between Nurioopta and Tanunga. Cuts right into my drinking time.

I travel through the city during the week regularly from anywhere between 10pm to 2am and I wonder why there are so many cars on the Melbourne streets even at those times, don't they have homes to go to :noidea:

Yeah and how can that damned monash freeway be at crawling pace by 6:30 in the morning.
