Melbourne Cup Weekend

So we are off to Torquay for the weekend, hoping the weather forecast improves but as long as the rain holds off for some of the time I don;t really mind.

Is anyone else going away?

Yep, got the Friday & Monday off so heading to Warburton CP, it's a big drive for us!

Would be nice if it was warm for a dip in the river.

I haven't, it's about 20 minutes up the road from our place so always thought it too close. The group we camp with like it so should be some fun.

Sitting in a nice warm van in Torquay, sadly because I have the heater on. It is quite cold outside and even raining at the moment. Lets hope the weather improves, if the wind dies down it would be much better.
TV reception is no better than the last trip and would even think about a new arial if I thought it would make a difference.
