16' Series Lounge bed for Freedom Expanda 2004

Hi everyone,
First time Jayco owner here, we just picked up a Freedom Expanda 2004 model (52.49-10b).

We have just been opening it up today and going through any and all the repairs or mods we might need to make and noticed that the lounge bed for this model uses the tabletop parallel to the queen bed side and only has a lip on one side of the booths, which might make sleeping on the table top a bit dangerous for a restless little sleeper.

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket fitting for this or will we need to customise?

On closer look and a bit more background research it looks like that table may not have been intended as a bed extension. Apparently the lounge-to-bed conversion would have had to be ordered at the time of purchase and runs perpendicular to the queen bed.
Mods it is by the looks of it……

That is correct. A board and cushion drop in there that fills out to the return. It also has a leg to support it.
