Anyone tow with a Silverado?

Went looking for a dual cab Landcruiser and bought a 2009 Silverado 2500 HD LTZ. Owned by a old fella who used it to tow a 23" foot van. All the fruit and 58km on the clock.

A bit excited.

Nah mate. I've just finished getting all the fruit on it.

I shuffled my work cars around so my manager got my Hilux and the wife uses the 200 Series to play demo derby at the shopping centres.

How have you been? Heading west soon?

Was in Meekatharra a couple of weeks ago, no plans to head to the pretty part of the state at this stage.

I'll second that!! My favourite memory of a very brief refuelling stop in Meeka was my good friends Missus coming out of the liquor store and saying "Tony can you go back in there and get a bottle of Red , they would only let me buy one bottle so I got a white"

my first exposure to Meeka was about 4 years ago and as I drove into town a larger local lady was crossing the road, lifted her dress and completed her business in front of the car before walking away.

Well finally picked the beast up yesterday. Towing capacity 5.5 tonne on the tow bar or 7.5 tonne on a fifth wheel.

Auto sparky changing the plugs for me and off to Augusta for the long weekend.

@bigcol there's just enough room so that the kids cant punch sh*t out of each other.

The seats also fold up so that you have quite a decent amount of storage on the floor.
