Long time user, first time poster

Greetings all,

As the title states " Long time user, first time poster". My name is Wayne, wives name is Vanessa and we have a couple of lovely kids, Chloe and Skye. We purchased a used 2010 16.49- 1b last November and are extremely happy with it. We used this site for alot of our info before purchase so thanks to everybody that contributed. Got to do about 6 short trips before we have decided to pack it away for the winter but have now decided we are going to do a trip for 8 weeks August , September from Wollongong NSW to Cooktown Qld. I m after any sort of info on can get on organising a trip like this, wether it be books or personal experiences or anything anyone has to offer on a trip like this. Any info greatly appreciated

Thanks for the reply Relgate, Im lookin foward to what may come off this forum. I should probably give a bit more off what i want to do. We have mainly decided to stay coastal and also I am a mad fisherman and plan on taking my Hobie Kayak. I plan on fishing Lake Monduran or Awoonga but leaving Vanessa and the kids and doing it as a day trip. Plan on an extended stay ,maybe a week at 1770 as well. But otherwise open to any suggestions

Hi Wayne and Vanessa

If you can work around my roster I'm happy to show you around our lovely piece of Qld.

We could go out to Boynedale (back of Awoonga) for one weekend and take a trip up to Kroombit Tops to have a look at Beautiful Beatsy the WW2 bomber that sat undiscovered for 50 years.

Then we could go to The Causeway Lakes/Yeppoon the next weekend.
