Kidman Way

Hi every one, we are heading up the Kidman Way through to Longreach Winton to Townsville in a couple of weeks. Can anyone suggest things to see and do on the way. Got Longreach and Winton sussed out and Charleville just can't find a lot further south, Bourke and Cobar area. Also good camp stops. We have a 2yo and 5yo

Shearers Hall of Fame is at Hay and worth a look,very interesting.

There is a really nice small caravan park on a farm on the Northern bank of the Lachlan River a bit North of Hillston.
You take the Condobolin Road on the North side of the Lachlan River head East for about 10km (of easy dirt road) off the Kidman Way and the caravan park is on your right hand side heading East. It is in our Camp 7 book as site 925, described as 35km North of Hillston.
A very nice spot right on the river with grass, trees and clean facilities and lots of carp? jumping in the river if you want to catch and kill fish.
