Karumba Caravan Parks

Hi,
We are planning on being in Karumba towards the end of June and wanted some feedback on the caravan parks and fishing charters there. From everything that I have read it sounds like the Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park is the pick with the only downfall being that it is tight to get your vans in. We are due to take delivery of our 17.56 in the next couple of weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations or feedback

We always stay at Karumba point Sunset park, it is by far the best. I will be there at Easter for 5 nights. As for charters there is heaps for fishing, crabbing and just plain sightseeing. Generally this are pretty easy to get on - you can book them at the park when you arrive and the boat ramp is literally 150 mts from the park where most of them depart from.

There is plenty of room to get you van in - we get our 18 in easy, as a matter of fact I think it is one of the better parks for larger vans.

I would book early as in June/July it is usually booked out.
