We paid our deposit today on a brand new 17.56-1 ob!
I'm so excited and can't wait for delivery, will be mid December apparently.
Looking forward to any tips and advise you can give us!

We have ordered, the privacy screens, additional water tank, external shower with hwu, 150l fridge, battery, control panel, solar provisions.

We are looking to add a storage box to the front axel, maybe solar.

Mostly I'm just looking forward to getting away!

Sounds great if you are looking at a front storage box I would suggest the longer drawbar to fit it on. Maybe the dropdown table on the outside as well. Plenty of ideas on here to decide if you get Jayco to do or do when you get it home.

Fantastic. Although the wait will be painfull, once you bring it home it will all be worth it.
Tips and advice? It's all here on this great forum. Search for what you want to know and if you can't find it, just ask. No questions are stupid here, just a great bunch of people.

As @17triton said, if your are considering a toolbox (which is a great idea) then consider the extended drawbar. We didn't get it and now regret it!! I'll still get one for our standard drawbar, but it wont be a s big. We also have the drop down table and use it all the time. Even when we are travelling and we pull over on the side of the road for some lunch...very handy

Hi @Bel8181 we just did something very similar, except we didn't get the OB. Our delivery is mid-December too and we can't wait too get away.
